Second skin
After you get your tattoo, you will get it covered in something called
"Second Skin" or Saniderm. This product needs to stay on your skin anywhere from 24hrs up to 4 days recommended.
If it is suppurating blood inside the plastic, remove after 24hrs-2days.
If the tattoo is not suppurating any blood you can leave the second skin up to 3-4 days, all depending on the exposure the tattoo may get without the second skin
When removing the second skin, it is recommended to be removed under lukewarm water, and then dry it with a clean paper towel.
After this, leave it alone for approximately 20 minutes until it starts to feel like the skin is a little light and dry.

WASHING PROCESS
Keeping your tattoo clean is an important factor for a good healing. Make sure to take your time while cleaning up your tattoo. To ensure this, just follow these steps:
Wash really well your hands
Grab a mild, fragrance-free soap, (ex: Dove, Dial, Neutrogena, Johnson's baby) mix up on your hands to create some soap foam and then gently wash all excess blood, ointment, ink, and plasma from your tattoo.
With lukewarm water, remove the soap foam, making sure that the water does not hit the tattoo directly (Use your hand as an intermediate between the water and the tattoo.
Clean up excess of water with a clean clothe or paper towel, then let it dry for at least 5-15min.

Once you let the tattoo breathe and it is dry, it is time to moisturize it.
WATCH OUT! This is a tricky part; too much ointment traps germs into your new tattoo, which can potentially lead to infection.
Think about it this way, we want to have a super thin layer of cream on the tattoo allowing it to still breathe but at the same time protecting it from germs outside. How can we get this result? Easy:
Grab a tiny bit of cream or ointment with the tip of your finger.
Then give little taps to every part of the tattoo. (avoid a circular motion)

In order for a tattoo to heal properly it is necessary a good healing process.
A tattoo is 50% the technique and 50% the aftercare, so even if it gets a bit annoying it is utterly necessary that you take care of you tattoo. If you see that you are having any weird reaction or if you have any question do not hesitate on contact me at any time.
Being said that, thanks a lot for trusting and supporting me and enjoy your new tattoo.
